But I have given up on the Newtons because they seem to cause me the most ankle and arch problems. Too bad because they are so light, and I can run pretty fast in them. A couple friends are running in Hoka One One and love them. I still have not found the perfect shoe for me.

But my runs have been pretty solid. I am currently not too sore and training for Shamrock is going well. It is a flat fast course but can be windy. But maybe a PR is possible there.

For me, 2014 was the year of injuries.
