Ouch! \u00a0That had me concerned about running a 5K the next morning, \u00a0Luckily it did not seem to effect my leg, although I do feel pain if I press in the area that got hit.<\/p>\n<p>The race was not chip timed and there were about 50+ runners there. I had no idea if the course would be flat or hilly, but it turned out to be hilly. I went uphill pretty fast and slow on downhills, although maybe not slow enough. My mile splits were 8:46, 9:00, and 8:35, respectively. I think unofficial time was 27:10. I was happy with that. As far as knee pain, I don&#8217;t think I really felt anything, although at one point I thought it felt a little odd. I might have just imagined it because nothing hurt afterwards, except for sore calf muscles.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, I was happy with this run and got a confidence boost from it.
