I am one of the fortunate ones to get into the 2014 Chicago Marathon – my first marathon! \u00a0After not getting into the Marine Corp Marathon through lottery, it is great that I got into Chicago.<\/p>\n

Chicago is a very flat course and one of the best courses for first timers. \u00a0With my knee still recovering, it is good that I will not have to worry much about hills. \u00a0Looking forward to the training.<\/p>\n

As I continue to build up my mileage base, my posts here will focus on the training for Chicago all the way through to the completion of the marathon. \u00a0Outside of a couple smaller upcoming races, such as a 5K and a 10K race, this will probably be the only big race race I do in 2014.<\/p>\n
