- I was born in Baltimore, MD and come from a long lineage of Baltimore ancestors going back to pre – Revolutionary War and had an ancestor that fought in the Revolutionary War and also was descended by Jamestown settlers. My ancestors also were among the first to settle in Jamestown.
- I am terrified of certain kinds of bees – Wasps, yellow jackets, and hornets. I will run faster than lightning to get away from them!
- In 2003 I was on an Animal Planet show called “That’s My Baby.” It was a show about one of our llamas having her first baby llama and the first one born on our farm.
- I don’t like eggs but can tolerate scrambled, and even then, I feel sick eating it.
- I am very introverted and love time alone to think about things. I take a while to warm up to strangers and probably come off as unfriendly. I likely won’t start a conversation but will engage if someone else initiates the conversation, especially if it’s a topic I like.
- I also dislike small talk such as talking about the weather, etc.
- Rules that lack common sense or logic frustrate me, and I tend to not follow them if I don’t agree with why they exist.
- I hate public speaking but will do it anyway if it’s absolutely necessary to accomplish my goals.
- I can appreciate all types of music from classical to heavy metal to rap. I believe there are masterpieces in every genre of music and when a heavy metal song is played with classical instruments or piano, then it’s really easy to see my statement is true.
- I am left-handed and left-footed, but I believe I use both my left/right side brain equally as a scientist and creative person.
